Since then Yamamoto has released six more albums and continues to tour throughout Japan and abroad. She is also well known for her collaborations with other artists including Ryuichi Sakamoto and Yoko Ono.

School Idol Project”. The song reached number two on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and charted for thirty-one weeks. Other popular songs include “Kimi no Na Wa” which peaked at number six on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and “Sukiyaki” which hit number four.
